Mr. Zakir Ahmed, a career diplomat, joined the Bangladesh Consulate in Sittwe on June 19, 2022. Prior to his role as the Head of Mission at the Sittwe Mission, he served at the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi and held positions in various departments within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka. He is a graduate of the University of Dhaka.
